Effective 25 August 2026
This is the plain-English version. We've tried to say what actually happens rather than hide it in legal language.
TasteTrak is a service of Bora Group LLC, a California limited liability company. We build restaurants their own branded ordering website and mobile app.
This policy explains what we collect when you visit tastetrakorder.com or fill in one of our forms, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only.

When you fill in a form on this site, we receive what you type into it.
| Form | What it asks for |
|---|---|
| Restaurant enquiry (/get-started) |
Restaurant name, your name, phone number, email address, the POS system you use, what you're looking for, whether you use DoorDash or Uber Eats, and the best time to reach you. |
| Partner enquiry (/partner) |
Your name, phone number, email address, company name, the kind of work you do, your experience with restaurants and merchant services, the size of your team, what interests you about partnering, and your timeline. |
These forms are the only place we ask you for information. We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or any sensitive personal information on this website.
Like almost every website, ours records some technical information whenever a page loads — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you looked at, the site that referred you, and the date and time. This is standard server and analytics data and we use it to keep the site running and understand which pages are useful.
We use what you send us to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not rent, trade, or hand your contact details to anyone who wants to sell you something unrelated.
By giving us your phone number you're agreeing that we may call or text you about your enquiry. We're a small team getting in touch about something you asked us about — not an automated dialling operation. Tell us to stop at any time, by replying STOP to a text, saying so on a call, or emailing info@tastetrakorder.com, and we will.
We share your information only with the companies that make this website work. Each one sees only what it needs to.
| Who | Why | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts this website and receives our form submissions. | Everything you type into a form, plus standard server logs including your IP address. |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram) |
Measures our advertising and lets us show ads to people who've visited. | That a browser visited a page, and that a form was submitted. Not the answers you typed. |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typefaces this site is set in. | Your IP address, because your browser requests the font files from Google. |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that — and this policy would follow it.
This website uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta — the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It's worth explaining plainly, because most privacy policies don't.
When you load a page here, the pixel tells Meta that a browser visited that page. If you're logged in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta can usually match that visit to your account. When someone submits one of our forms, the pixel also reports that a submission happened.
The pixel does not send Meta the answers you type into our forms. It reports that a form was completed, not what was in it. Your restaurant name, your phone number, and everything else you enter goes to us, not to Meta.
We use this for two things: to understand which of our ads actually bring us people who get in touch, and to show ads to people who have visited our site.
Blocking the pixel does not stop you using this site. Everything works exactly the same.
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We don't use cookies to run this site — there's no login, no shopping basket, nothing to remember between visits. The Meta Pixel may set cookies for the advertising purposes described above.
Your browser settings control cookies, and you can block or delete them there. Our forms also use a temporary marker that your browser discards when you close the tab; it exists only so we don't record the same enquiry twice.
We keep enquiries for as long as we're in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. If you'd like us to delete your details sooner, ask — see Your rights.
Server logs and advertising data are kept according to Netlify's and Meta's own retention schedules, which we don't control.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Email info@tastetrakorder.com and we'll deal with it. We won't treat you differently for asking — no worse service, no different pricing.
California residents have specific rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what personal information is collected and who it's shared with, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
California law treats sharing information with an advertising network for targeted advertising as "sharing" — which is what the Meta Pixel does. We do not sell personal information for money. If you'd like us to stop sharing your information for advertising, email us at info@tastetrakorder.com, or use the browser and Meta controls described under Advertising and the Meta Pixel.
You can make a request yourself or through an authorised agent. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on it.
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is still no agreed standard for what a website should do when it receives one, and this site does not currently respond to it. The controls under Advertising and the Meta Pixel are the reliable way to limit tracking here.
This website is for restaurant owners and business partners. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, email info@tastetrakorder.com and we'll delete it.
If we change this policy we'll update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged clearly on the site. This version is effective 25 August 2026.
